Intra explores both interior space and inner experience. Opening a window onto intimacy through oil painting, the artist investigates our relationship with isolation, as well as how this condition shapes our perception of personal space.

Cut off from the outside world and confined within domestic boundaries, objects and bodies intertwine within the narrow confines of an apartment. Time enters a peculiar state of suspension, becoming cyclic and repetitive. Like Freud and Lacan’s notion of the uncanny (unheimlich), ordinary things shift into the realm of the surreal, merging the familiar and the unfamiliar, the known and the unknown.

This artistic approach invites reflection on how we perceive our surroundings and the inner realities that inhabit us.
